Two photographs of mine have been included in the May/June issue of the magazine published by the North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA). The issue, Empire's Apprentice, looks at Canada's involvement in the region with a skeptical eye. The images I contributed show Chilean discontent with Canadian mining company Barrick Gold. This spring, an excerpt of a series of my photographs was published in Anamesa, an interdisciplinary journal focusing on the work of graduate students in New York City. The series explores the use of photography in burial niches in cemeteries in Calca, Cusco, Urcos and Lima, Peru. A selection of the series will be included in my online portfolio.
